California Governor Gavin Newsom announces mass vaccination sites as death toll soars

California Governor Gavin Newsom said in a briefing Monday the state will open three mass vaccination sites, including Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and Petco Park in San Diego, to help combat a surge in coronavirus cases. The state saw a record 1,163 deaths in a two-day period over the weekend, and intensive care unit capacity in several regions in the state is severely limited. Watch his remarks.
