A Wall Works for the Obamas?

by: Daveda Gruber:

President Trump will leave no stone unturned when it comes to a border barrier. Trump has pointed out that former President Barack Obama built a wall around the family residence in Washington D.C..

On Sunday and Monday Trump took to Twitter:

After leasing the home when Obama left office in 2016, Obama and his wife, Michelle, bought the 8,200 square foot mansion in 2017. They reputedly paid $8.1 million for it.

In an exclusive part of Washington, the Kalorama section, is where the mansion is.

Many diplomats, lobbyists and politicians, including Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared and Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos live in the elite part of town.

Renovations were made to the property, at the time it was rented and later bought, including the wall.

It would seem to me that if the Obamas need a wall, so does the southern border.

Trump has been disputing with congressional Democrats over funding for the southern barrier.

The president wants $5 billion for the barrier. Democrats are offering $1.6 billion for border security. They offered nothing for a wall/barrier.

So, with this stalemate at hand, we have a partial government shutdown.

Democrats are saying they have a plan to end the shutdown but could that possibly happen? Democrats don’t usually have plans that are good for the American people and especially nothing Trump wants.

Tonight we welcome 2019 in the mist of not knowing what the new year will bring.

Happy New Year my friends! Let’s stay positive and support Trump no matter what 2019 brings.
