A woman is dead and another person was critically wounded in a shooting at a church parking lot in the Texas city of Cypress, police said Thursday. The Harris County Sheriff’s department tweeted “no suspect in custody at this time.”

In a press conference Thursday night, police said they are looking for Arthur Edigin, 62, in connection with the shooting. They said he was driving a white 2008 Suburban with a damaged right front quarter panel.

The incident took place at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, according to CBS Houston affiliate KHOU-TV. The station reports the shooting suspect knew the victims: His estranged wife was killed and his 31-year-old daughter was wounded.

Police also tweeted: “There are no other reports of injuries at this time and the scene at the church is under control.”

A reporter with the station posted an image of first responders at the scene.

The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston released the following statement on the shooting: “Our prayers are with the victims and families affected by the tragic shooting this evening at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. Officials with the Archdiocese and the parish community are cooperating with local authorities in their investigation.”

KHOU-TV has been reporting from the scene and offered a livestream on Facebook:
