Miami police said Sunday a woman whose apparent abduction from a Miami tire shop Friday was caught on surveillance video has been found safe. But the suspect was still on the loose late Sunday night, reports CBS Miami.
Neither identity has been released. Details about how she was located were also kept under wraps by authorities.
The video shows the woman entering the shop, then being forced out by a man with his hand over her mouth.
One witness told CBS Miami the woman was hit dozens of times during the apparent abduction.
Police said late Sunday that the woman is a victim of domestic violence but didn’t say how she knows the man in the video.
They also said they’ve been in touch with him.
