WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States had not gotten back to the negotiation table with North Korea as quickly as it had hoped, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a interview with CBS on Tuesday, but added that Washington knew there would be ‘bumps on the road’ in talks.

Asked if the United States was concerned about North Korea’s firing of short-range missiles, Pompeo said “Yes” and added that he wished it had not done that.
