  • Florida follow-up: After last week’s school shooting in Florida left 17 dead, Americans are calling for action on gun control. A new Washington Post- ABC News poll found that more than six in 10 Americans say President Trump and Congress are not doing enough to prevent mass shootings;
  • New Mueller charges: Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team has filed new charges against Alex Van Der Zwaan, a former associate of the firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Documents claim that he “did willfully and knowingly make materially false, fictitious, and fraudulent statements and representations” on November 3, 2017 during an FBI questioning into his work as an attorney for a law firm connected to Ukraine;
  • Trump endorses Romney: In a tweet Monday night, Mr. Trump endorsed Mitt Romney’s campaign for a Utah Senate seat. The endorsement marks a shift in Mr. Trump and Romney’s relationship. The two have had a tumultuous relationship, stemming from Mr. Trump’s run for the White House.
