Japan’s Aso says MOF, BOJ cooperating well on financial stability

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso said on Friday his ministry and the Bank of Japan were cooperating effectively to ensure financial stability.

He also said that, generally speaking, any decision by financial institutions to consolidate was up to their management.
