High school student successfully leads push to get more female figures in history curriculums – CBS News

Prasidha Padmanabhan is a Virginia high school student leading an effort to get more women, and especially women of color, in her county’s history curriculum. Padmanabhan and her organization, Women for Education, Advocacy and Rights, were successful, developing a curriculum for sixth-grade history that is being adopted by some teachers. Nikole Killion has more.
