Five years after Emanuel AME massacre, church’s reverend and daughter of victim call for change

Wednesday marks five years since a white supremacist killed nine people at the predominantly black Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina. As tens of thousands of people across the U.S. have taken to the streets this past month to protest racial injustice, the daughter of one of Emanuel AME’s killed members says, “The country is in a place of reckoning.”
